Equality and Diversity Statement

Effective date: 9 September 2026 · Last updated: 9 September 2026 · V1.0

1. Introduction

Rody O’Brien Legal Education is committed to equality of opportunity for all students, prospective students and clients.

We do not discriminate on the grounds of gender, civil status, family status, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, race, or membership of the Traveller community, or any other characteristic protected under Irish equality legislation.

2. Scope

This statement applies to all aspects of our work with students and clients, including admissions and enrolment, tuition delivery, course materials, assessment, and communications.

3. What This Means in Practice

We aim to:

  • treat all students and clients fairly and with respect, regardless of background
  • ensure our admissions and enrolment processes are open and free from discrimination
  • make reasonable adjustments for students with a disability or additional need, as set out in our Accessibility Statement
  • use inclusive and respectful language in our course materials and communications
  • address any instance of discriminatory behaviour, whether by our staff or by other students or clients, promptly and seriously

4. Concerns or Feedback

If you feel you have experienced discrimination or unequal treatment in your dealings with us, please contact us so we can look into it. Concerns of this nature are handled under our Code of Practice for Complaints.

By email: [email protected].

This statement should be read alongside our Accessibility Statement, which sets out how we support students with additional needs, and our internal Dignity at Work Policy, which governs how staff are expected to treat one another and those they deal with.

6. Review

This statement is reviewed periodically to ensure it reflects current practice and legislation.
